First case of T-cell/histiocyte-rich-large B-cell lymphoma presenting with duodenal obstruction

G astrointestinal tract is the most common site of extranodal non-Hodgkin’s lymphoma. Small bowel involvement accounts for 20 30% of all gastrointestinal lymphomas (1). Among all intestinal lymphomas, the ileum is the most common involved area, with duodenal involvement only accounting for a small proportion (2). The most frequent histological type is diffuse large B-cell lymphoma (DLBCL). T-cell/ histiocyte-rich-large B-cell lymphoma (TCHRBCL) is an uncommon morphologic variant of B-cell lymphoma (3, 4). Duodenal involvement of TCHRBCL has not been reported previously. We hereby report this first case of TCHRBCL of the duodenum.
